Mostly Africans; Malawi and Tanganyika. But other fish like the grandaddy Fire mouth "Fury" and Pike Cichlid "Pike" obviously hail from other lands er uh waters...
Over 100lbs of Lace rock, Beach sand substrate, Fluval 205 & 405 cleaning the H20 and 3 air stone's worth of aeration.
I feed em everything. Except the funky stuff. LOL actually cichlid pellets, sticks, protein rich flakes, color enhancer flakes, and cichlid crisps rich in Spirulina algae, Sinking crumbles, Mysis and occasional brine shrimp

Thank you! I've been collecting those rocks since starting back into fish about 4 years ago. Lace rocks are wonderful for Mbuna Cichlids since they like swimming through them. My Neolamprologus cylindricus and Julidochromis from tanganyika love to hug the rocks.. Its so cool seeing them inverted against a rock.
I can't wait to do a more peaceful tank; likely with Dwarfs and some schools of neons in a well planted tank. The complication of plant maintenance may back me into the fake plant corner, but I know I want it green. lol |

... To think these babies that are scattered about in many nooks and crannies, were just in this mouth, like a day ago...
