Hello all, I'm getting sick of HOB and in tank filters. I've gone through 3 filters in the last year and a half, and to be honest I really haven't liked any of them. I had a Penguin 280, a whisper HOB, and a pair of Whisper 20i's, the in-tank kind. Now my parents are offering to buy me a better filter for my birthday, and I was wondering what you guys would recommend. I have a 30 Gallon, the dimensions are 36" by 12" by 16". My stock is 4 Panda Cories, 9 Pristella Tetras, A Bristlenose Pleco, and 5-6 platies. The final stocking plan for this tank is 6 Panda cories, 9 Pristellas, My pleco, and a pair of Bolivian Rams. Right now the tank is moderately planted, but I plan on fixing that . So I'm looking for a relatively quiet, good quality canister filter!
