Long time since an update! Here is a new Picture.
I also added two Rams and a Clown Loach this weekend. The Clown Loach was camera shy but the Rams weren't!
I also uploaded a short video!

When you do see the clown loach please catch him up and return him to the store. These are a shoaling fish which grows far too large for your tank.
Rest of the tank is looking good but the rasboras are looking rather portly. Try cutting down on feeding maybe? |

| From my understanding Loaches can take years to reach a foot in length. If this occurs I will certainly exchange the fish. As I do not want them to be uncomfortable. In addition this tank is 72 gallons so I don't see them running out of room for quite awhile. As for the shoaling, I may add more Loaches to the tank so the current one isn't lonely and exchange them as they grow up for store credit. |

Clown loaches can reach 6 inches in a couple of years and then growth slows.
Why not exchange the loach for a species more suited to the tank.
Y sidthimunki are great or if you want larger type look for B histrionica. Both of these are active by day & eat snails. |

| Thanks for the recommendation, I did some googling and they look like a pretty cool Loach. My biggest reason for purchasing the Clown was for Snail control, but I see I have more to consider in the long run. I will do some more searching and maybe swap him out for something more appropriate. |

| After your recommendation I did end up taking the Loach back to the store. I didn't get anything else yet, I'm going to wait a few weeks and see how the rams do. |

For me, plants are always a struggle... I might try and do something like what you did as far as building a C02 system. Very impressive tank, I hope it's still in running order! _________________ http://auditorandagentleman.blogspot.com - now with 100% more fish.
