Well I have moved this fish to a 2.5 on my bedside table in my room. He seems to like it okay. The only plants I have in it are some various ferns on a small piece of wood. But he likes it. The tank came with an in-tank Whisper filter. It seems to work well. It also puts out less flow than an HOB filter so he can get his food easier.
