|
|
I have a bubble counter, and I fill it with water, and turn on the co2, and as soon as I turn on the CO2, the water drains out of the bubble counter, the co2 is hitting the diffuser and going into the water, but it keeps draining the water in the bubble counter (without the bubble counter showing any bubbles) until the water has drained to were it goes from the co2 bottle into the bubble counter and into the tubing to hit the tank...
any help would be absolutely appreciated!
(if you need photos, tell me and I will try and get some on here)
and incase this helps at all... here is my setup from CO2 tank to fishtank...
1) CO2 bottle.. (connects to):
2) Tubing (connects to):
3) Check valve (connects to):
4) Tubing (connects to):
5) Bubble counter (connects to):
6) Tubing (connects to):
7) Air stone (the diffuser I bought came in fedex broken so I'm using an airstone for a day or two until I get my diffuser) (connects to):
8 ) Fishtank! |

I assume between the CO2 cylinder and your tubing, you have a regulator and a needle valve (perhaps a solenoid in between those two as well).
What bubble counter are you using? It sounds as if it is leaking.
Also, I would recommend that you place a check valve after the bubble counter (but before the diffuser) as well. _________________ Anthony |
