[GT_Raven]

Recently we have had a number of deaths in our tank roughly 4 in the past months or two. The water is tested weekly and is reading fine. The tank is 40 liters and filtered and has live plants, it used to have 4 guppy and 4 rummy nose tetra and 2 yamato shrimp. Recently 2 guppy and 2 RNT have died, we are at a loss as to why, any advice guys?

Has there been any major changes recently (up to four months ago)? This would include temperature, power failure, moving the tank, rescaping the tank, introduction of new fish, etc.. What is your maintenance schedule? Do you know the actual water specs (Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate)? How old are the fish?

we have added the RMT in that time frame , however we lost a guppy prior to this other than than no major chances to the tank. Maintenance is weekly testing of the water with roughly a 25% water change and debris removal every 2-3 weeks. one of the shrimp has been with the tank for close to a year now and is growing and healthy, I read yamato shrimp are quite susceptible to water quality yet it seems fine.

Ill repost when I have the water quality results , although they all fall within the lowest colour reading on the test kit bar the pH which is very alkaline.
