Hello all

I thought I would share this for everyone

Testing of Evolution Pure Aquarium Balls

Below you will find the results of a 8 days trial of these balls on a Roma 200 tank
with live plants and two large pieces of bog wood

According to the suppliers the accelerator is bacteria & trace elements and the balls are media to colonise - not much food for any bacteria.

Reports suggest that the tank will cycle again once fish are added.

I would certainly suggest a challenge -shrimp or liquid ammonia and monitor the process before risking fish.

You read my mind
I will be running this for another 1-2 weeks by adding ammonia (9.5%) from Homebase and doing tests every day or every other day
