Same here in Venezuela. Cardinals are wild caught in pur rivers at the south of the country, between Orinoquia and Amazonia.
Like in Brazil, Neons are practically not sold here. In my 20 years keeping fish, I have never seen them.
Cardinals can cost from 10 cardinals for 2, 50 US $
Black neon tetras are a bit more expensive, about 1,20$ each
Glowlight tetras: 1,20$
Serpae tetras: from 1,20$ to 4$
Angelfish, depending on size, but I bought a couple of small angelfish for 2$ each.
Harlequin Rasboras, since they have to be imported from Colombia, can be found from 4$ to 8$ a piece. 8$ is the most common price for them.
Boesemani Rainbowfish, and usually all rainbowfish cost 8$
Pearl Gouramis are around 5$ each, normal gouramis, I'seen them pretty big for like 1$
Tiger Barbs, depending on size, and store and be as cheap as 1$ to 5$ each.
Gold barbs from 1$ to 3$
Cherry barbs, 3 $
Checkered barbs 3$
Platys, from 0.50 to 1,50$ Santa Claus are more expensive, around 6$ each
Cories, depending on species, 3 to 5$ |
