I might have the opportunity to order some wild caught L279 plecos, and was wondering if there was a possibility I could try and get a pair for my 30 gallon.
My current stocking plan was -
9 Pristella Tetras
3 Platies
6 Pygmy Cories
2 Bolivian Rams
1 BN Pleco
If I got a pair of L279s I think I would change my stocking plan to -
6 Pristella Tetras
6 Pygmy Cories
2 Bolivian Rams
2 L279s
I have a separate tank I could move the platies to, what would it take for me to be able to get a pair of them? All answers welcome! _________________ Please, oh Please can someone help me!?

I also could go with wild L183s, which one would be a better option for me? could I still go with a pair? _________________ Please, oh Please can someone help me!?

| You could go with a pair or trio of either but L183 are more attractive IMO. |

The L183 are much more attractive, that's probably what I'll go with, their a lot cheaper too. _________________ Please, oh Please can someone help me!?

They're generally fairly good algae eaters, too--bonus! |
