Getting on with life after years of it revolving around fishkeeping can be difficult I'm learning... downsizing tanks, getting rid of some, those that I'm keeping are mainly easy to maintain shrimp tanks I can leave for months at a time without worry (helpful when college comes around).
Planning for the future is a pita I'm learning But I won't lack for fish now that I'm downsizing, I'm surrounding by hundreds of tanks every day at work _________________

Did I meet you at the GSAS meeting with Karen Randall? Were you the person who sell the homemade frozen fish-food? (I know your name...but I respect privacy....) |
Nope. I'm not even sure what a GSAS meeting is. I live in the San Juan Islands and rarely am I able to leave, another obstacle in the world of Fishkeeping. _________________ yo |

GSAS = Greater Seattle Aquarium Society, I live in eastern washington so I rarely visit Seattle.
Way to rub it in fern. I wish I could take care of 29 tanks. _________________

sorry, you just learn to make time for the things you love as you get older.
And the tank count will be up to 33 soon for the 4 batches of moorii blue dolphin fry on their way..... _________________ I think I need a bigger tank......

Where do you get your Valium? Just kidding. This sure is a testament to your hardworkingness (no, not a word but I'll use it anyway). _________________ yo |

I'm finding this to be true, too... and I'm not even in my mid-20s!
Plus, I imagine with that many tanks... You've got a pretty solid routine of taking care of them. Am I right? |

yup, every weekend is water changes and tank maintenance. Monday and Tuesday are housework. My 'spare' time is spent with my kids. My son is slowly getting into the hobby, but he has a lot more to learn before he gets his own tank.
Nearly all of my fish are breeders and selling the young to lfs and hobbyists helps me afford so many tanks and fish. My tanks range in size from 10g all the way to my 240g tank with a 360g planted sump. My stock is mostly African cichlids along with some corys and rare plecos. _________________ I think I need a bigger tank......
