I'm really looking for a scavenger for a 10 gallon tank. I was thinking shrimp but I don't know if my killis will eat them thanks. _________________ 46 gallon-reef |

Don't think so, get some RCS as they are kinda cheap, or just get a ghost shrimp. It should be fine. _________________

It's verry possible, especially in a ten gallon tank. If you keep the two species together, make sure you have lots of plant and/or decor cover. _________________

| Mine immediately went after shrimp. They did leave the tiny freshwater snails alone. |

LOL think most killies will eat what ever they can get in their mouths . Including eachother .
Good luck . |

| I have 3 male Killi gardeneri in 20 gal tank with 8 other other community types. The males were raised as tank mates and have lots of cover, so appear to get along well. I have never seen them go after the Lampeye tetrae, actually other way around, but notice tails of lampeyes somewhat frayed since intro of killis. Can only assume they sneak attack in the dark as revenge against the lampeyes, who go into a frenzy at feeding time. leaving little for the killis. Am going to try softening betta bites and dropping in, hard ones too big for them to swallow. They are so beautiful, my favorites. |
