My Tank:
-29 Gal (Cycled For 2 Months)
-Ammonia 0
-Nitrite 0
-Nitrate 20 - 30
-pH ~ 8.0
-Temp Is Always Kept At 78 F
-14" Airstone Powered By A Whisper 10 - 30 Pump
-One Aqua-Tech 30 - 60 Gallon Filter and One Aqua-Tech 5 -15 Gallon Filter

Foods:
-Wardley Advanced Nutrition Tropical Flakes (None Of My Fish Eat This)
-Tetramin 3 In 1 Foods (Flakes, Baby Shrimp, And Granules)
-Omega One Freeze Dried Brine Shrimp
-Top Fin Freeze Dried Bloodworms
-TetraVeggie Algae Wafers (With Concentrated Algae Center)

My Fish:
-5 Adult Guppies, 8 Juvenile Guppies (and Possibly Some Fry)
-And One 4" Pleco? (I Think)

Now To My Question. What Else Can I Feed My Female Guppy Besides Live Foods and The Foods I Have Above. I Can't Get Live Foods In My Area And I Want To Avoid Getting Them Sick.

I've Had Her For About 2 Weeks Now And She Is Getting Very Thin. I've Watched Her Try To Eat The Other Foods But She Just Spits It Out Or Just Gets Close To It, Then Backs Off. Except For When She Sees A Guppy Fry. That She Will Swallow Without Hesitating.

By The Way, I Wasn't Expecting Guppy Fry For Another 2 Weeks So They Caught Me By Surprise. I Don't See Anymore Now But I Will Separate Them When I Spot Them.

I don't know what it could be, besides preference. Some fish are very picky. Mine a lot of times won't eat the pink flakes.

My experience is:
pH a little less than 7.0
House room temp is OK. I do not use a heater in either of my tanks.
One power 15 filter is adequate and could/will suck out the fry.

I never knew guppy's to be finicky eaters. Fish, like people, will eat when they are hungry. Most folks over feed. You might try cutting back feeding to once a day for awhile or even skip feeding for a day or two.

Freeze dried foods are pretty useless but frozen are generally good and accepted in place of live foods.
Algae wafers are not needed for guppies.
You could try a piece of blanched lettuce or zuccini.

coolwater, Room temperature is only OK if your room is always at a suitable temperature. I have been in Altlana in snow and ice so unless you have constant heat youy need a heater. pH doesn't matter as long at it is stable and not extreme.
