I've been reading the book on Mini Aqariums that has been advertised on this website. It mentions keeping "nano ponds" and I'm considering the idea. I have a large terracotta pot that I think would be a good size, but obviously it wouldn't hold the water for long. Is there a silicone spray that would be safe to use, or would I have to use black plastic to line it?

I bought 4 tubes of GE silicone I for doors and windows and verified through an online article that GE used to recommend it (stock number 012A) for aquarium use. Thanks for the tip. I cut the ends off each tube and removed the contents with a paint stirring stick (free kind from lowes) and then spread it around the inside of the bowl using a little plastic spreader. I think it worked great, although I'm letting it cure for a week since I have it rather thick in some areas.
