Wow, 5 weeks? Who did the WCs whilst you were away?
I agree with the above post...5 days is not all that long to go without food...sure, the fish will be hungry, but a good feed before and after your trip should be sufficient. _________________

| Just an update. I got my automatic feeder... and I got it cheap by hoping from one LFS to another. The first LFS was selling it for $30, I finally got it from another LFS for $15. Will start to test it tonight. |

I used the Tetra Gel Feeder in my tank when I was gone for a week. It killed both fish (a clown and a green chromis) and completely polluted the tank. Luckily my shrimp, crabs, and snails are pretty robust... they survived. _________________ The hamster of doom rains coconuts on your pitiful city! |
