Lost 2 out of 12 Nicholsi, lost all of the other killies but 1 pair. over 400 endlers, 4 young females survived. And my stock of bristlenose. There was over 225 young ones 3 pairs of adults, and 6 new longfins. All in all I lost over $3000 in fish. But the bright side, I will be getting my breeding stock back up by the end of January. |
That's a lot of fish to lose, especially all those Endler's!
Hope you get back on your fishy feet soon, but judging from your Flag Fish, I think you already have.

That must have been heartbreaking! I'm curious, what other species of killifish made it? I'm surprised they made it through a period of temps in the 30's though wow! _________________ 46 gallon bowfront tank

The only killie that made it was a native killie from Florida Fundulus cingulatus - Ebro FL location. Must be sturdy little buggers. _________________ 47 tanks and still adding!
