through my research I have read that it is not good practice to have too many different species of corals in one tank. Many beginners want as many different kinds of corals in one tank and fail to realize that the confines of a aquarium will lead to eventual chemical warfare, that usually leads to less aggresive corals going downhill from a more aggresive corals sweeper tenticles. this is just what I read, I may be mistaken.

Correct, some corals can be highly aggressive, placement and planning are important.
