Tap water, about 70% limestone mountin runoff, and most of the rest is from a lake with quite a bit of organic debris, so I guess that is where the nitroen compound come from.

Vaud canton (near geneva), switzerland

I use a JBL "easytest" strip test kits, so its not all that accurate...

Temperature- varies

pH- 8.5 to 9.0
GH- 45
KH- 20

Ammonia: N/A
NO2- 0
NO3- up to 10

I don't have a test kit for tracde elements or heavy metals, so I can't tell you about them

pH: 8.5 - 9.0
GH: off the charts
KH: off the charts
Ammonia: 0
Nitrate: 0

I don't have anything else that I can test for but I definitely do NOT use the tap water. A few neighboring towns have similar problems, but then others have perfectly nice water! I guess it all depends on the village tanks.

I only have two tests here in Finland, so those are the only ones I can give you.

Location: Oulu, Finland

pH: 6,2
GH: 4
so KH is something between 0 and 4.... quite dreamlike if you ask me. Wink
