Is it OK to mix different salts during water changes? I am almost out of one type, but the new one I bought is a different brand. So is it safe to use both in 1 w/c?

Yes it is for the most part. Some people do this on purpose as the calc, alk and mag measure differently for each salt. What two brands are you going to mix?

| The old salt is Aquasonic and the new salt is Red Sea. |

| For what it's worth dude, aquasonic is for fish only but red sea salt is like holding a dice, if yo got a good batch then yu are lucky. but this is just my experience, maybe yurs is different. I liked the german salts better but aquacraft usa salt, I was told is just as good. |
