Unfortunately this whole topic was discussed at a very low, generalized and simplistic level, way below this board's standards, so I'm putting an end to its suffering.

Hopefully next time a relevant issue like this gets brought up, the participants might take the time to become better informed, and formulate more well-rounded and pertinent opinions, delivering them in a more objective and constructive manner.
