I finally got my lighting the way I want it...looks much more even and isn't popping the elect meter so much. Left and right side of the tank are 150 watt 10K XM Double Ended Bulbs and the center section is a 250 watt 10K Ushio Double Ended bulb.

msta...it isn't allowed in my building for noise reasons. I am looking into a power inverter set that will run a heater and a powerhead but that only works in the winter. We lost power for days here last summer. Current contingency plan is to take the corals to someone's house that does have electricity. Our local reef club has many members spread all over so that plan will have to work for now. I will be buying a house in the next year or so and then a generator is mandatory.

that tank is actually amazing if I could close to anything like thati would be happy I really don't understand marine at all but I do know how fragile the tnaks are and that is amazing very very very well done (love the clownfish)
