I've read that UV sterilizers will kill free floating parasites, bacteria, and green water etc. But my question is; will it take care of beard algae, or other forms of algae that have a green hue? Smile
Thanks Austin
P.S- Would this be a handy, unobtrusive Sterilizer that is worth the money?

A UV sterilizer only works on green water b/c it is a free floating algae. The other ones that are attached and growing on things it wouldn't do anything for. A better idea is to figure out what nutrient you have in excess and change it (if you have a planted tank).
