when at my LFS I saw a small dragon bichar (1-2 inches) I did my research and found he will eat anything he can fit into his mouth. when my cichlids get bigger would it be okay to but a bichar with them?

bichirs get huge, so no..

a 16" bichir could take down a 4" cichlid in a snap...even an 8" cichlid...easy
