have 2 seperate African tanks, one for mbuna and one for hap/peacocks. What is the best temperature to maintain in each of these tanks? I am not interested in a breeding temperature. I want to keep the temperature at a level that is best for the fish and one that will bring out the best color and least aggression (in the mbuna tank). Thanks

76
I know a ton of sites recommend 80 or sometimes higher, but that's sort of a summer mode temp... tends to encourage growth, breeding, and aggression... 76 is a more calm temp and doesn't prevent breeding or encourage it...

Hope that helps.
