I was home from work for lunch at 12 noon and all my fish looked fine...I get home at 6 and noticed the mutilated body of one of my glowlight tetras stuck to the intake of my filter....

I added 2 Colbalt Blue Gourami's and 2 Honey Gourami's yesterday....the male Blue Gourami is pretty big and I was wondering if he could have had a mid-day snack...

It's either that or my tetra dropped dead got stuck to the filter and the fish decided to pick at him...

Can a Colbalt Blue Gourami kill a Glowlight Tetra? Is this normal behavior?

Was your tetra looking sick at all? I know sometimes when fish are sick and become weak they can be sucked into the filter intake. Just the suction from the intake can do a lot of damage to the fish's body.
