I have about 20-30 babies convicts and I was wondering how big should they be in order to give them away, sell, etc.? They are still tiny but they look like convicts they have stripes all their fins and eat small tiny pieces of food.

Once convicts have there stripes and are feeding on their own without the parents standing guard they can be given away or sold. I have two tanks right now with convict fry. Remember its better to move the parents to a new tank then the fry in my opinion, as to not stress out the fry.

Most stores prefer them to be a good inch and then will probably only except 20. Con fry can be hard to sell but if you offer them dirt cheap almost any store will take them; it's better than flushing them. I'd ask for $1 - 0.50. I find a lot of the big fish devoted stores give nothing for them but the pet stores that have them as kinda an extra (Petsmart, Superpet, Wal-mart, etc) give better priceing. Thats in my experience but it may vary upon location.

I've never sold a batch of fish to petsmart before but I have sold individual fish such as Pleco's and Red-finned Sharks.
