I'm researching these really neat fish. My questions:
1) Is my 117 gln. tank large enough?
2) Compatibility with other fish...
Angels
Rubbernose (Bulldog) plecs
Tiger Barbs
Banjo catfish
Serpae Tetras
Cardinal Tetras (will they be dinner even when full grown?)
Gold Nugget plec
Redtailed Black shark
Siamese Algae eater
(Obviously I'm not going to have all these I'm just trying to figure out which might and won't work.)
I'm getting incredibly different information on how big these guys really get in captivity - anyone with a few years of experience with them I would love to hear from you.
Those of you who do have experience what do you feed them? I'm also getting quite a bit of different opinions on what they will and will not eat. I realize that fish are all individuals thus I will get different answers so I'm looking at the big picture here.
Anything else that anyone can add I would really appreciate.

I'm bumping this just because I really would like to know if anyone knows if TireTrack's will eat/injure Rubbernose (Bulldog) plecs? They will be the smallest fish in my tank after I rehome the Cardinal tetras.

no, there is no way the tire track eel could fit its mouth around a pleco. if you have seen an eel in the store then you will see they have small mouths, how big is your bulldog pleco?

I have two Bulldog plecs. I've had them for about nine months and they are about three inches in total length. They are so cool and I'm very attached to them and don't want to take a chance of loosing them. Thanks much for your reply - I feel much better.
