KH and pH to high, what do I do?

As mentioned a pH of 7.5 would be a good compromise to "keep" both fish, but to breed them, I would be looking at different tanks with different water conditions.

Neons:

Very soft and acidic water is recommended, though there are reports of this species, being bred in harder water (But no mention of how hard).

Swordtails on the other hand prefer harder water.
