| I read in a book yesterday that if corys lose there barbels they can't find their food. I will have pea gravel for substrate. Is this okay? |

As long as it's pea gravel that's not been treated with anything it should be fine. If you are buying it from a fish store specifically for fish tanks then no problem. If you are going to a garden supply/hardware store, etc. then just make sure that no chemicals have been used on it and that nothing has been added to it as 'extras'. _________________ 135 gln. freshwater tank

| What if the corys barbels where off from digging around a lot? Is that possible? |

Not if they are digging around in pea gravel.
They will lose their barbels if the water quality is not good. _________________ I am who I am, and who I am is who I want to be. |
