I have a 1 gallon temperary home for my betta, as my 20 broke, and I wanted some snails. It is kept at 23 degrees Celcious, and I think my betta is lonely, without his buddy, Buddy the snail, as he died when the tank broke... . But I was just wondering, do I have to change the landscape and stuff so my betta won't attack him, or add the snail when I do my water change? Or just add him???? _________________ Lifes short, so waste it wisely, and eat dessert first!! |

I would just add him and watch closely for a couple of days to make sure the Betta doesn't go after him. My Betta has never bothered any of our snails but I've heard of Bettas that attack. _________________ 135 gln. freshwater tank
