| Hey, well the good news is like mentioned above he is alive and swimming. Not swimming well but he is doing it and eating. He was on the bottom of the tank for a week then all of a sudden he was up and moving. I was going to put him down and on the final day he started swimming. I am super happy but also shocked and confused. He was basically dead and on the bottom of the tank. Then he started swimming. I guess it doesn |

If it is a small fish like a guppy or neon, I use the 12 ounce claw hammer. With something as big and hearty as a piranha I would have to upgrade to a 5lb sludge hammer. Wear a bib and make sure you don't miss. It is pretty much an instant death.
If you're one of those people that want to freeze them or boil them, then you might as well throw them in the microwave. Don't put them in there in a bowl of water because it will take to long to heat up. Use the same cooking instructions as a bag of popcorn. When the popping stops, it's done.
Due to safety reasons, I don't suggest using a bullet to the brain.
Attaching them to a hand granade has no pain for the first three seconds after throwing it. Then still no pain (At least for the fish).
There are many other ways, just be creative.

Now that post above is just plain wrong. You obviously have no feeling towards your fish. _________________ Sup? |

Aww, I am so glad your piranha is doing better! I've been reading the posts, and that's so great to hear that he's doing great (or at least better ). _________________ "color is the keyboard, the eyes are the hammer, the soul is the piano with the strings" - - wassily kandinsky |
