I was just wondering if I put sand in my 150 gal tank would it bother it or make the water cloudy????

It can be done. You just have to be careful not let the sand get into the filter. It will damage the impeller and kille your filter. Extra care needed when you do water change and vac the tank floor.

It will be cloudy for few days but it will be clear eventually.

read a post here that said use pool filter sand as it will not stir up as much
