Anyone here using T6 lighting fixture for plants. I know the LFS is carrying them now and I've seen some online as well. Anybody using them? How do they compare with T5?

Gord.

T6 bulbs can be used as replacements for T8s, without changing the ballast or endcaps.
T5s need a dedicated fixture. Both bulbs are much thinner than T8s or especially T12s, so they give you much more light IF you have a good reflector.

The only company I know of that makes T6s is Quantum Aquatics. I use them and recommend them for anyone who wants to keep their standard strip lights.
