erm my ammonia has 0 reading now.. but I didn't test for nitrite as I don't have the test kit now. but currently nitrate are high in level. so can I say my tank is cycled?

If nitrates are high, then its prob cycled. Make sure that the ammonia stays at 0 first

Do a pretty big water change before you add any fish though

yeah my nitrates are 100mg/l. the highest reading in the colored chart.

It sounds cycled. Do a water change or 2
