Had been looking for used lighting as I'm on a budget- what a new hobby to start eh?
Anyways. is this a good price for a new fixture? comes with bulbs.
Coralife Aqualight, Dual Linear Strip Light, 2X65W, 30 inch= $123+s/h
Thanks for input, I'm learning a lot here! |

That is the standard price for that fixture. Are you going to be putting this over a 29 or a 20 gallon? _________________ 150 Gallon (567.811768 liters) community tank, 50 Gallon African Tank, 7 reef tanks, 6 FOLR, 28 freshwater tanks |

They will do great. It is a taller tank so your growth won't be great. But you will get growth. For an extra hundred you could get a 175watt MH for that tank. Then you'd be rockin. Or you can get DIY 175MH for about 180$ and build you own hood. That is my plan in the near future for my tank. _________________ 150 Gallon (567.811768 liters) community tank, 50 Gallon African Tank, 7 reef tanks, 6 FOLR, 28 freshwater tanks |
