You could try chocolates and roses, and if that doesn't work, tickets to a sporting event. If the fish becomes excited from the chocolates it is female, if excited from the tickets it is male. If is excited by both it may be Richard Simmons.
I have no idea how to sex them. _________________ Out on the road today...I saw a DeadHead sticker on a Cadillac...

Thanks for the link. I was wondering because I LOVEEE Angels. I am setting up a 55 reef soon. I was wanting a Flame or Coral Beauty, but all my research showed that they are some of the most unsuitable fish for the reef aquarium. Then, I found the Cherub and all my research has said that they are about the best pick for a reef. About 90% of the info I have found said that they may nibble on LPS corals and clam mantles, but will leave the more noxious soft corals alone. I plan on having an anemone, and some mushroom corals. Possibly a few others, but I am still currently researching corals.
The reason I asked is because my research has shown that multiple Cherub's can be maintained in an aquarium (most saying 50gal or larger) as long as there is only 1 male. That is why I asked. _________________ If at first you don't succeed... skydiving is not for you. |

Hmmm, I believe that all or at least some Centropyge spp. are protogynous hermaphrodites...
starting as females whiich can progress to an alpha male with a harem.
I like the harem part. _________________ Keepin' marines happy for 25 years |

I'm glad people have a sense of humor on here. Don't you just hate it when you say something that you think is hilarious and then you hear a cricket playing??? _________________ If at first you don't succeed... skydiving is not for you. |
