Haven't done one of these in a while, so here goes.
The poll refers to March's cute little Tanks of the Month.

For me it had to be Rony's bird feeder aquarium. I really liked the look of it and I think it was masterfully done. To me I could image it being a landscape like a hillside with bolders and a forest below-just shrunk into minature.
I think all the other minature aquriums were great but the bird feeder one just stood out for me.

Bird feeder because of the small miniscule size and how it can be viewed in a good perspective by many people since its a birdfeeder, anyways also what attracted me was the picture of the detailed bubbles and the green from the incredibly growing fauna plus the white light brownish gravel, it has a very good contrast and it makes a beautful set-up, well done!, also what shocked me was the lightbulb ,wow! _________________ Get attached, love everything now, then, suffer when it comes to an end, for it will bring great meaning to one's existence. Wow....such a hard decision......but it was a tie (for me) between the Bird Feeder and the Light Bulb.....ultimately I chose the Light Bulb
The Bird Feeder was great and very intricate and the attention to detail was amazing But I went with the Light Bulb because the difficulty to perform such a simple beauty is great......it is much harder to make such a thing of beauty with the common house hold light bulb then it is for the bird feeder.....so I guess it was the level of difficulty that made the decision for me _________________ "The deception of others is nearly always rooted in the deception of ourselves." |

I like them all, but the paludarium is just stunning. A beautiful arrangement iven the miniscule proportions. _________________ -Molly

That's pretty cool Marcos!
They all look great, but I am leaning towards the flower vase and the cracker box as they seem to be the most viable long term. In the end I am going with the flower vase (the simple aesthetics appeal to me). I can actually see keeping something like that longterm by doing water changes with an eye dropper and even rigging a mini glass cleaner.
P.S. I'm into Bonsai and this reminds me of a style known as Mame bonsai. _________________ Intelligence is not having all the answers; it's knowing how to think! |
