Marcos is spot on with his comments.I also would like to know do you do water tests on this tank? How often are you doing water changes and gravel vacs? Poor water quality can also make your fish act crazy. For the size of your tank,I sure hope that you're doing daily water changes,or he'll be swimming in a sesspool of waste.
