It looks like just a plain old fancy goldfish to me. Veiltails have very long flowing tails and sleak bodies, he does not. Pom Poms are unmistakeable if you have ever seen one. They actually have little pom pom looking growths above their nostrils.

I'm sure it's a pom pom, due to two reasons. Firstly it looks like one, secondly the LFS said it's one, and I see know reason why they would lie Rolling Eyes
