To me it was such a hard decision to make. All the photos looked great. But I managed a vote.

Well, it was a tough descision, but I finally decided to vote for Magnus's White cloud. I just love its little red frowny mouth. It almost looks like it has clown makeup on.

I liked 2la's pencilfish, too. I think it looks like a penguin.

Byez! Very Happy

Gotta go with Mogwai's P. saulosi, despite the weird little speck by the left eye. Wink I also like Shark70's gold gourami in terms of embodying the theme of the contest--I almost feel like the fish is saying, "What the heck do you think you're looking at?"

2la's and Magnus's shots are really interesting...they look to me as if the fish were just initiating a jump to hyperspace Laughing

Alex's Shrimp and Little Mousling's Firemouth are technically perfect. I was also very impressed with the photographic quality of Slackra's crab, Irons's pleco, dr_fosg8's ram and Lunarflame's Krib, and I really liked the position in which Shark70's gourami came out, although the image is begging to receive some color & contrast fine-tuning.

But my vote was decided at the very beginning...the expression on Mogwai's cichlid's face is absolutely priceless! Smile

Great contest!

I'm such a photoshop novice - the speck is an air bubble but I'm not trained to airbrush it out... Embarassed Wink

EDIT - Learnt how to now Smile

My vote was for Slackra's crab - it made me chuckle out loud, with 2la in 2nd place.
Fab entries this time again - I love these contests!

lol why Mogwai? hes just a lil crab, that happens to be a very efficient cleaner and a pain in the bum at the same time.

his eyes are kinda freaky though... I should have put in a what hes thinking bit. probably "What was that shiney thing that picked me up and dropped me at the front of the tank?"
